1/2 lb cooked Tavern cod, flaked
4 slices of your favorite bread
2 ripe avocados
1 tbsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Olive oil (for drizzling)
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

In a bowl, mash the avocados with a fork.

Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper, and mix well.

Toast the slices of bread until they are golden brown and crispy.

Spread a generous amount of the mashed avocado mixture on each slice of toasted bread.

Top with flaked Tavern cod. Add a few cherry tomato halves on each toast.

Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro and red pepper flakes if using.

Drizzle a little olive oil over the top for extra flavor.
