Take the steaks out of the refrigerator at least 45 minutes before cooking.
Right before cooking, coat the prime ribeye steaks with olive oil and season generously to your taste.
Preheat the grill to medium heat, around 375°F.
Prepare the steaks as mentioned above and grill for 5-6 minutes per side for medium-rare or 6-7 minutes per side for medium doneness.
Take the steaks off the grill and add a small amount of butter on top. Loosely cover with foil and let them rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
