Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F.
Start by halving a lemon, squeezing the juice from one half, and reserving it for later. Slice the remaining half thinly and set aside.
In a small skillet over medium heat, melt butter and add minced garlic, a pinch of red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.
Sautรฉ until the garlic is fragrant and softened, about a minute. Remove from heat, stir in the reserved lemon juice, and set aside.
Lightly oil a large sheet pan and place a steelhead fillet on it.
Pour the butter mixture over the fish, then use a pastry brush or the back of a spoon to coat the fillet evenly. Lay the lemon slices on top.
Bake the steelhead in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until it's cooked through, easily flaking with a fork, and slightly lightened in color.
Once done, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the fish and serve promptly.
