In a large pot, cook the bacon on medium-high heat until it becomes crisp, around 5-6 minutes.

Add the onion, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring occasionally, until it turns golden, approximately 3 minutes.

Mix in the brown sugar, ketchup, pickle juice, and dry mustard, and cook while stirring until the mixture thickens, about 2 minutes.
