 8 ounces linguine or spaghetti
 4 tbsp Unsalted butter
 4 cloves garlic, minced
 ¼ tsp Red pepper flakes
 2 tsp Chopped fresh parsley
 Salt and pepper to taste
 Grated Parmesan cheese for serving

Cook the Spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving some Spaghetti water.

While the Spaghetti is cooking, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant but not browned.

Add the cleaned soft shelled crab to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Remove the crabs from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the cooked Spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the garlic butter sauce. If the Spaghetti seems dry, add some reserved Spaghetti water as needed.

Divide the Spaghetti among serving plates. Place a soft-shell crab on top of each serving.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.
